VELOCITY / BUNGEE SETUP

Using a Proxy is the best way to leverage SecurityX's full potential. A proxy-side installation ensures that banned players cannot join any of your backend servers.

IP Forwarding

For **Anti-VPN** and **Alt Detection** to work correctly, you must ensure that IP Forwarding is enabled on your proxy and backend servers. Without this, SecurityX will only see the Proxy's internal IP.

Required Setting

velocity.toml: player-info-forwarding-mode = "modern"

Centralized Management

By installing the plugin on your Proxy, all subcommands and global bans will be managed centrally. No configuration is needed on individual Spigot servers unless you want local reporting capabilities.
